Alexandra Patrich uses the pronouns she/her/hers and is a grateful guest living and raising her sons (Orlo & Wynn) on the traditional and unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations.
Alexandra has degrees from the University of British Columbia in Family Studies and Social Work and a Masters from the University of Manitoba in Community Health Sciences. She is currently working towards a Certificate in Indigenous Leadership, Governance, and Management Excellence at the Banff Centre of Arts.
Alexandra currently works as the Director of Indigenous-Specific Anti-Racism and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiatives with the Health Employers Associations of BC (HEABC) - a partner of the Ministry of Health and provincial health authorities as they work towards system transformation in this space.
She brings with her skills in: establishing good governance, strategic planning, project management, evaluation, negotiations, and healing from harm; all grounded in wise practices of Indigenous ways of knowing and being.
She is excited to join the Bayview Community Preschool Board and continue this important work!
